Double Glazed Sash Windows

The only difference from the original windows is that the new windows are discreetly
double glazed, (exceptions in some listed buildings) undistinguishable from single
glazed windows, replicating every fine detail and moulding..

Double glazing existing windows is an affordable option in comparison to complete
new windows. So long as the existing frames are in a useable condition we can just
replace the sashes or leafs in the box frame or casement. This is about 1/3 of the cost
of a new box sash window. We still use the high performance low 'e' argon filled
double glazed units, replicating all of the details of the original windows.

Before the new sashes are installed we will renovate the existing box frames,
installing our draft proofing system at the same time. Decorating can be included
in the works.

French doors and complete box sash windows. We have been working on grade II Listed Shoreham College
(Adur & West Sussex conservation team), 36 Flats for southern Housing in Hove (Brighton & Hove conservation team),
and 180 Window renovations and replacements being over seen by Lewes and East Sussex conservation teams.
